My Mobile Photography Setup

Mobile photography, or “mopho” for short, is growing in popularity. Why? Because it’s easy and in your pocket! Phones today are as much quality cameras as they are a device you can use to call or text someone. As phones get better and better cameras, more and more companies are releasing gadgets and other gear that allow you to take your mobile photography to the next level. In this post, I’m going to show you what I use in my own mobile photography setup. Let’s get started!

Full disclosure: most of the links in this post are affiliate links, which means I get a commission if you use these links to purchase something, which comes at no extra cost to you. If you have questions on my affiliate links, you can view my full disclosure here.

About My Phone

The phone I use is an iPhone XS Max, though the gear I’m about to show you will work for any type of phone as long as the Moment phone case I will highlight is offered for your phone. As of right now, Moment offers phone cases for iPhone (6 and above, even 11), Pixel, OnePlus, Galaxy (S8 and above), and Galaxy Note (8 and above).

To check if Moment offers a case for your phone, go to the Moment website [affiliate link], scroll down till you get to the Shop Gear section, click on Cases, then click the Filter option. You’ll see all the phones they support.

The reason why this is important is because the lenses I will show you attach to the case, not the phone. So it’s important to get a case that matches your phone and to make sure you get lenses that work with your case. Everything I show you will work together for an iPhone XS Max, however if you have a different phone and have questions, please don’t hesitate to comment below.

The Visual

To make it easier, I recorded a video showing all my mobile photography gear and how it all works together in my setup! A list of all the items is below as well.

The Gear

Now, on to the gear! Here’s the list of what I showed you in the video. The links below are all affiliate links.

Additionally, Moment offers a variety of cases, neck straps, wrist straps, and other gear. You can go here [affiliate link] to check out their entire inventory.

Happy creating!
